Hey Tom,
Just thought I would say thanks for the hook up on the Tremec conversion kit, one of the best things I could have done to the car in this
resto somewhat mod conversion. The shift pattern is tight and smooth, especially in a speed shift slamming gears, only do that in
rare moments. That 454 will make the ass end pass the front end in a hurry. The paint is close to original color, until you put it in the
sun, and the candy micro pearls come alive, changes to a green and orange and a little gold and the custom covers on the interior worked
well with the scheme of the car. By the way, mileage average when I'm cruisin' on the highway is around 20+ with a 454, that isn't bad.

I did notice that it is a 393 and not a 408. Oh well, a few cubes here and there doesn't matter and leave it to you as to how that happened.

Lately, Trifive.com (Classic 1955-56-57 Chevy Forum) has had some posts

The ['57 Chevy 2dr Sedan] was built with a 350 turbo and a 10 bolt posi unit, blew up the rear end and replaced the turbo with the Tremec.
That's where you guys come in. I purchased the speedo drive, clutch fork and yoke at a VERY fair price not to mention how much technical
assistance you guys at AMP Performance have given me in these complicated upgrades to some early iron. The car is
well recieved wherever it goes and the comments are awesome.

Ok so get this. I go up to Phoenix today to get the tune fixed. One problem, the fuel pump is maxed out at
5200 RPMs @ 13.7V and hits 12V at 4k. WTF?!?! Get pissed right? I call AMP to find out WTF they have to
say about that? They tell me to come down because they really want to see me, and they have a party for me.
They say they'll give me my money back towards the GT500 setup, but they wanna pull the pump and take a look.
OK, go for it!!! They pull the pump and what do ya know... It's a STOCK pump!!!! Holy shit do I feel
like a douche!!!! Apparently, when I took my car into the dealership for the fuel sender TSB, they swapped
the whole pump!!! I talked to the dealership and they found the problem and are ordering me th GT500 Set-up.
I feel really crappy calling out AMP like that and being wrong. I just wanna thank Tom and Chris and the rest
of the gang that was there for the party, for taking the time to make my "fat" ass turn multiple shades of
red (BTW, thanks for calling me out on that Tom!)

Thank you very much for your reply. Our group/club [Rim Country Mustang Club] is small, but we are serious. I make it a point to tell everyone asking questions on getting work done on their Mustangs, about my experiences with you and your shop.
Any shop that you go into looking to upgrade your car's performance, will up front talk polite and make you feel secure in your purchase or work done, but in my experiences with my Mustang, if you find a great shop, stay with them.
I got impatient wanting my Super Charger installed as soon as possible, and because you guys were busy I would have had to wait approximately 2 to 3 weeks for an appointment. BIG MISTAKE! And a hard lesson to learn.
Tom, you and your team are not like the rest. When I first brought my Mustang to your Shop, I was very impressed with your customer service, and especially your prices. And most important, nothing changed as time went by. You and your team treated us like family, and went out of your way to make sure my dealings with you were a great experience. I really made a big mistake when I didn't wait for an appointment with you to install my Super Charger.
The professional way you and your team handled my rear gear swap should have been all I needed to know about who I should trust to work on my 07 Mustang. You and your team would not except anything but the BEST before releasing my Mustang back to me. I got impatient, and I paid the price. But I do all I can now to make sure that everyone I know that is wanting to have work done on their cars, don't make the same mistake. The other shop was not up front or honest with me from the first day I dropped off my car. I not only paid more from the beginning, but there were some hidden costs and mistakes made that I was billed for as well. I guess I could have fought and refused to pay for the final billing, but after everything that we had already gone through, I just wanted my car back and I would mark this as a stupid mistake on my part and never go back.
This e-mail may sound like overkill in thanks, but I experienced the extreme bad side of how things could go at other shops, both in reliability and in the wallet ($$$$). I know that you and your team may look at it as "we just got paid for doing our job", but you all deserve to hear the thanks and praise.

A short note to express the frisson that I received this afternoon when my Mustang mirrors arrived at
my home. I opened the perfectly packaged ups ground delivery box with my most valued mirrors inside
only to find that Mike had sent me exactly what I needed and with the care and consideration of a real
pro. I say this because Mike never laid eyes on me but completed a business transaction over the
phone in the sale of a used product that to me turned out as good in quality as a new product at one

Tom, this is to let you know that Jeff sent me the parts that I needed to resolve my 2nd to 3rd shift problem.
I installed them December 26th and the installation was straight forward with the instructions provided by Jeff.
Shifting to 3rd is perfect now at high rpm (5000+).

Hello everyone!
Thanks Tom!!!!!!! We are having one big ass storm on us now. Our forecast looks very bad so no projects going on now.
The winds are the worst I've ever seen in these parts and wanted to get my electronic msg and ebay stuff out now before the power goes.

Hey Tom,
Just wanted to say thanks for the gift certificate. I'm sure I'll be in
soon to use it, as I've been putting a little wear and tear on the car.
I've had it out on the track twice now (last time was on Saturday). The car
is simply awesome. I've raced against a Ferrari F430, a Porsche GT3, a
Roush 427 and a bunch of other supercharged stangs, an M6, and many M3's,
Vettes, and assorted other cars. Although I couldn't pass the Ferrari or
the blown stangs on the straight, I could hang with them and then outbrake
them going into turn one. Not bad for an NA car. And the Baer's are
working great. At last Saturday's session, I was passed not a once. So
next time I'm going to move up to the intermediate class. Needless to say,
I'm extremely pleased with the car. Please pass my thanks on to Chris and
all the guys. Great job!

How are things going? I've been so busy lately that I haven't done much on the Cobra, but I do look at it

You went to bat for me, getting all the little things taken care of. The disc had me worried. But you stepped up and got it done.
I know that most people would of just said buy another clutch and disc. I have yet to talk to Chris at Zoom to thank him for taking care and changing out the Center Spline.
The last couple of times I've called, I haven't got to talk to you. So, you can read this in your "Spare Time".

Thanks for doing a super job on my Mustang G.T. Saleen supercharger install. I appreciate your patience
as you steered me in the right direction to get my project car where it
is at this point.
Wanting a perfectly streetable rocketship in an automatic
car, you delivered 400+ hp to the wheels, set up the transmission exactly
like I wanted it to shift, finished it when you said you would, washed and
vacuumed it, and spent more time tuning it than you planned to make sure
it was all correct. Having taken my car to three other shops to have work
performed on it, AMP was the only one I felt could deliver the professional
service I was looking for in taking my car to this level. Chris Ciolek's
knowledge of engines and all the variables that affect their performance
amazes me.
I am a 110% satisfied customer and it is well worth the 4 hour

I brought my 2007 Mustang GT to Tom and the guys for a rear gear swap.
By all means this is supposed to be a simple job, but not this time.
There just happened to be alot of customers nationwide that were
having trouble with some sets of gears from Ford Racing Parts,
and wouldn't you know it, I was just one of those lucky owners/customers.
Being the great team they are at AMP, Tom, Mike and the others handled this
project as true professionals. Tom would not let the car leave the shop until
it was correct and until we were both satisfied. I have had work done in other
performance shops, both in and out of the state of Arizona, but AMP Performance
by far is the best I have worked with.

Just wanted to drop a line to say thanks.
After having the rear end of my 2006 Mustang GT destroyed by another garage attempting to
do a gear job (carrier destroyed, gears ruined by being set up wrong), I turned to AMP.
From the moment I came in the door and talked to Mike, I knew I was in good hands. He
was friendly and knowledgeable, and I knew I made the right move.
No, I was told, your gears should not make noise, and yes we can fix it.
He explained everything very well and had a tech come right over to take a test drive with me.
He identified the problems from the sounds being made, within a few minutes.
The car went in, and new gears were installed, correctly. The carrier was also replaced.
My car's rear end is now silent, and everything works as it should. I will now be a customer
for as long as I own Mustangs, and will recommend your company to every Mustang owner I come
into contact with. I now tell people to avoid looking for a shop where they can save a few
dollars, and to instead look for one with a lot of good references. In Phoenix, that place
is AMP. I now know people who drive from other states to get
AMP service, and it is easy to see why.

Chris - Good to hear from you. I got the engine back in two weekends ago. I have started
it and set the timing, etc. Total run time so far is only about 15 minutes because I have
been so busy with my business start-up, but it sounds real good. As I mentioned, I
am launching an alternative fuels company right now so I have not had a chance to go-kart yet
and probably won't for another week or two. The only thing so far is very minor - extremely
slight oil drip from rear seal. But this could be that I overfilled the pan or even coming
down from the drippy valve cover gasket I had at first- I replaced that already. Either way,
no big deal - it'll probably seal up with more run time anyway.
The experience with AMP has been the best I have ever experienced from any significant car parts supplier
and I made a post on the Cobra Forum to that effect as well! I have been talking you guys up locally with
my car buddies, too! I was profoundly impressed with how y'all handled this issue, and I think that you
guys have to be the most "stand-up" bunch in the business. I try to "roll with the punches" in life, and
the way y'all handled this whole thing just made it that much easier. What can I say - you have a customer
for life! I will be building more and more and any component parts (engines, trannies, rear-ends, spindles,
etc.) I can get from AMP I will.
This one should be on the road sometime in the Spring, and then next up will either be a GT40 replica or
a Cobra Daytona Coupe replica. So whaddya think? Another 331, a bored out 351, or should I go big-block?

I would like to purchase a set of AFR 165 heads for my 5.0.
I would love it if you could help me with some info.
I am getting a loan this week, and when I get it I'll be ready to buy.
I would like to do a one stop shop setup. So I need to know what I have to buy.
I have a stock 5.0. I already have a Pro. Products typhoon intake w/ 70mm throttle
and EGR plate, MAC catback on the car (and will be ordering MAC's Shorty's and
H-pipe to match) 1.6 Crane Pedestal roller rockers, and a BBK cold air kit.
I looked at your kit for the 165's. Does that come with a cam? what else will I
need with this kit? Thanks guys and AMP Rocks!!! I loved your performance on PINKS!
