Here's one of the nicest FFR 65 Coupes we've seen in a while. Lawrence's coupe was built by Pat Barrow of Beach City, Texas, starting with a Factory Five Racing (FFR) kit, including a 4" round tube frame and a fiberglass body. Pat has built several FFR kits and is especially proud of this one. Powered by a 1993 Cobra 302 with GT40 heads, this 2,150 lb. rocket does the 1/4 mile in 13 seconds flat @ 108 mph and must be a pure adrenelin rush when you're behind the wheel.
This car has Hooker headers, custom-built cold air induction with K&N filter, stainless radiator hoses, Cobra valve covers, an electric radiator fan, aluminum fuel-safe tank and AutoMeter gauges. It's running its power through a Tremec T5 to an 8.8" Traction-LOK rear axle with 3.27 gears. The wheels are Halibrand-style replicas with Radial T/As (7x15 235/60 up front, 10x15 275/50 in the rear).
Thank you, Lawrence, for sharing your car with us!Click on the four smaller images below to see a larger version
