• My 94 Mustang

  Tom thanks so much for making my TKO600 shift with slicks on the car and at the track.

  Here’s a little info about what I was going through with my 94 Mustang (which @ 3000 feet altitude has 540 HP @ the rear tires tested on a mustang dyno) Before I would take it to the track put slicks on and try to make a pass without missing a gear that was impossible even granny shifting it would not shift (the two three shift to be exact) I could put back the drag radials back on and go hammer it on the street and it would shift fine I did not no what was going on so I call Tom @ Amp perf and he told it will not shift at high RPM with slicks At a track unless I have this AMP 100-00SS put in that consist of (5) brass synchros with carbon fiber lining, (8) bronze shift fork pads, (1) shift rail, and (1) finger. Needless to say I was skeptical because this car would bite hard on the street and shift fine, but it would not bite with drag radials at the track so I had to do something.

  What I did was send the trans to Tom at AMP perf and had them install the AMP 100-00SS in the trans got it back pretty quick put it in took it to the track and much to my surprise it shifted great no missed shifts at all. So if you can’t shift your Tremec TKO600 this is what you need.

  hey tom are you doing buddy car did really good come up the mountain I kept it under 3000 rpm but I need a bigger turbo .!!!! maybe I was just doing the speed limit and being cautious car looks great in my garage .what do you think about a k bell blower? do you think that would be a better way to go it felt a little sluggish . oh by the way you forgot my sticker care package for the garage and the bronco .. still love you guys can't wait to go to the car show.

• Parts arrived safely today

  Just to let you know all of the parts arrived safely today. I have checked through everything and it all looks to be ok and everything is there. I may need a bit of advice on how to put the hydraulic clutch actuator together so I hope you don't mind a call if I get stuck. I would like to thank you for making this transaction so straight forward and the help you gave in specifying the correct parts.   Received the mirror yesterday and is a perfect fit and replacement Great Job!! thank you! Packaging was great the bill was inside just wanted to let you know this was a very good experience and look forward to working with you again. Now I have a task that maybe you might be able to help with. I have a 68 Camaro that I would like to change out the heads on looking for some 194's 71 to 72 cc's that might work as just a bolt on and go. any? just email me back I would think that down in AZ there might still be alot of those left and still in good shape.

  We were up to our old tricks again this season. You guys AGAIN were a BIG part of it!!!

  NMCA/NHRA Unleashed Pro Stock 2011 Championship
  NMRA Hot Street 2011 Championship(R/U)
  (The NMRA came down to the final round of the race in Bowling Green)
  12 races, 10 Finals, 5 Wins, ET & MPH Record, Reset at the last race - 8.352@160.59
  (The rules crossover exactly for both series classes)
  Coinsidently, I removed a couple hundred pounds from the legal setup & busted off an 8.09@165.90, Jim Kuntz was pretty stoked about that too.
